ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jun Wan
Jun Wan is a selector and artist hailing from Muloobinba (Newcastle NSW). Jun Wan's influences include music across the globe, his Indigenous heritage and years of crate digging which creates a diverse sound and reflects his deep connection with humanity within his sets. For two decades he’s been playing shows and running parties featuring likes of The Hacker, Jensen Interceptor, CC:DISCO, Andy Garvey, Paula Tape, Spekki Webu, Lauren Hansom, Mike Who, Folamour, Objekt and Assembler Code - many in conjunction with Palace, which has been a dance-music staple in Newcastle for years. His style traverses the terrain between genres and decades presenting a fusion of the influences acquired through his years of dedication to the world of electronic music.

The pavilion for Ngumpi Kinyingarra Oyster House has been designed by students at the University of Newcastle School of Architecture and Built Environment facilitated by Associate Professor Sam Spurr and Senior Lecturer Anna Tweeddale: Alistair Eglington, Chalyse Fowler, Ivie Wong Hueyyi, Joshua Medbury, Keiran Buckley, Peter Ellis, Rachel Florey, Tahlia Phillips, Tom Licata.
