Join a Gallery Educator on Monday 6 July, 11-11.30am or Wednesday 8 July, 11-11.30am for a free online class using materials from around the home.

In our Week One: RELIEF COLLAGE online class you’ll learn about Murrurundi born, Melbourne based artist Peter Atkins and his use of found and collected objects to create works of art, followed by a demonstration of a simple art-making activity you can do in your home using collected objects and other recycled materials.

You can use a mixture of materials you might have at hand, including a collection of found/recycled materials made from plastic, metal or cardboard, pencils, paper, glue, scissors and tape.

These programs are delivered online via Zoom. Developed for primary-aged children and designed to stimulate playful art making possibilities.

Sign up and register for an online class and the Zoom event link will be emailed to you. For the best experience, everyone’s microphones and cameras will be disabled. You can ask any questions or share comments via the chat function.

Tag and share your creations with us for your chance to be featured on our social media pages.
