Public Programs Officer Penelope Finnigan will introduce Margaret Dodd’s 1981 film This woman is not a car, followed by a discussion with artist Penny Byrne on the contrasts and relevance of Feminism to contemporary artists. Painting workshop with Mazie Turner
Bookings Required
This workshop is for participants who have experience in working with painting processes. The workshop is designed to provide the opportunity for participants to experience fine art quality materials. We will be working with oil paint on different canvas-linen supports, with example of different levels of preparation and process involved. In line with Mazie Turner’s current artistic concerns, participants will gain an understanding of colour and painting in layers.
All inclusive cost $60 per participant, payable upon registration. (Lunch not provided)
