Opening Hours
The Gallery is open 10am-5pm Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year. Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day.

How to find us
The Newcastle Region Art Gallery is part of the Civic Cultural Precinct, and is located on the corner of Laman and Darby Streets, Newcastle, directly behind Civic Park and next to Newcastle Region Library.

There is metered on-street parking and a car park at the rear of the Gallery. The Gallery is a short walk from Civic Station, CBD shops and services and also close to the Darby Street dining and shopping precinct. Wheelchair access is available.

Admission is free. Some special exhibitions may incur a charge.

Cloakroom
Although the Gallery does not offer a formal cloakroom service, our staff will store personal and bulky items as a courtesy while you are at the Gallery.

Venue Hire
The inspiring and serene environment of the Gallery can lend ambience to any special event. The Gallery welcomes bookings for occasions including social and community events, cocktail parties and product launches.
