Hunter Writers Centre is excited to announce a series of Ekphrastic Live Readings at Newcastle Art Gallery.
This month, Hunter Writers Centre hosts an afternoon of live readings inspired by ROBERT DICKERSON: Off the Canvas.
Developed during Ancient Greece, Ekphrastic writing is a literary piece that responds and reflects the ‘action’ of an artwork.
You are invited to join on the first Tuesday of each month to hear poems and prose, fiction and non-fiction, as well as personal essays. There are also 3 cash prizes to be awarded ($100, $50, $50).
Do you want to read your work? Email Hunter Writers Centre at firstname.lastname@example.org
for more information.
