Newcastle Art Gallery - Acquisitions and De-Accessioning Committee

City of Newcastle is seeking to appoint members of the Newcastle Art Gallery Acquisitions and De-Accessioning Committee.  These include one representative Expert from an external organisation, one Professional Artist and two representatives from either the Art Gallery Foundation Board, the Newcastle Art Gallery Society Committee and/or Newcastle Art Gallery Guides.

The Committee will make recommendations to the Director of Newcastle Art Gallery about Acquisitions and De-accessioning of works of art for the Newcastle Art Gallery collection.

Expressions of interest are sought from interested persons with relevant experience in the Visual Arts, Museology and/or Creative Industries. Meetings are held for two hours approximately every two months.
